10.3    All tenders must be received at the above address before 16 July 2004 at 17.00 Hrs. (local) by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or hand-delivered against receipt signed by the CFCU or his representative.

14. Clarification meeting / site visit

19.2    A site visit will be held between 24-25 May 2004 (The site visit will start on 24 May 2004 and it will be extended to 25 May 2004 in case it can not be completed in one day) at AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY R&D CENTER during the working hours (10:00-18:00 Hours) at Istanbul Technical University – Ayazaga Campus, Automotive Laboratory, Maslak-İstanbul  to answer any questions on the tender dossier which have been forwarded in writing or are raised at the meeting. The site visit is mandatory for all potential tenderers, as they are obliged to put down the requirements for the electrical, mechanical and civil works to be done during the execution of the project.

The tenderers should indicate in its offer what works needs to be done in the testing rooms in order to install the equipment. Minutes will be taken during the meeting and these will be communicated – together with any clarifications in response to written requests which are not addressed during the meeting – in writing to all the tenderers at the latest 11 calendar days before the deadline of submission of tenders. The replies will be sent to all potential bidders or will be published on the following web-site http://europa.eu.int/comm/europeaid/tender/index_en.htm

No further clarification will be provided after this date. All the costs of attending this meeting will be borne by the tenderers.
